Henna, also known as Caca Tree, is a tall shrub that grows in the tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, southern Asia, and northern Australasia. It grows best in a hot climate ranging from 35 °C to 45 °C. At a temperature below 11 °C, this plant fails to grow and dies at the temperature below 5 °C. In India, Henna is produced majorly in the Rajasthan’s Pali District, with over 100 processors in Sojat city.

It mainly has two applications today i.e. as a hair dye and as a form of body art.
